Clergy and lay leaders across 19 states and 5 denominations have been crafting and honing a leadership formation ministry called Excellence in Leadership (EiL). EiL is engaging in leadership development in online cohorts that mix small and large group conversation and learning. EiL works with lay and clergy participants to not just fix the problems of today, but deepen self-awareness and encourage personal and communal reflection. The key topics of the 13-month cohort are emotional intelligence, adaptive leadership, Theory U, vulnerability and resiliency, family systems, and spirituality. Participants are encouraged to do deep personal work that will affect not only the current situation their ministry site is facing, but how they will interact with God and their community now and into the future.

The course is open to both lay and rostered people and we welcome people of all walks of life. Share widely.
