EcoFaith Network
Welcome to the EcoFaith Network of the Northeastern Minnesota Synod!
Our mission is to live out God’s call to be stewards of the earth for the sake of the whole creation.
The EcoFaith Network of NEMN Synod is made up of congregations, individuals, and other partners across the Northeastern Minnesota Synod and beyond. The Network’s website is found here.
The current co-chairs of the EcoFaith network are Kristin Foster, retired pastor, and Dave Carlson, pastor at Gloria Dei in Duluth.
Please reach out to Rev. Beth Pottratz, EcoFaith Network Communication Coordinator, with questions and connections.

Annual EcoFaith Summit
The 2025 theme is “Earth’s Cries, Earth’s Call: Becoming Midwives of Hope for the Healing of the Earth.“ Join in becoming midwives of hope and healing. Like Shiphrah and Puah who defied Pharaoh and brought forth life in the midst of slavery and death, we know that every child, all life, all of creation is worthy of saving through defiance and courage. Their story births something in us.
Speakers include Dr. Cynthia Moe-Lobeda — speaking on Pathways for People of Courage toward Building a Moral Economy. Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conroy shares our stories, creation’s stories, God’s stories to inspire, equip, and empower one another in our labor.
