Join us for the Core Training Workshop on Godly Play! The training, typically done in 18 contact hours, will be done using a hybrid model.

Our first gathering will take place Tuesday, May 26th from 6-9pm on Zoom. This will be followed by an in-person training Saturday, May 30th from 8:30-5:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Hermantown.

Who should come? Pastors, Deacons, Youth Ministry professionals, Sunday School teachers, volunteers working with children and youth. Anyone who loves kids and wants to share God’s story with them in interactive ways!

What does it cost? The price per person is $350.

The grand total for the NEMN Synod to host a Core Training is $3,500. We are grateful to the Irving Community Club for a grant to help offset the cost.

Rooted in the Montessori method, Godly Play is child-centered and hands-on method for teaching the stories of scripture. Led by trained teachers, children are guided through a series of lessons which teach the Bible, the church year, and important leaders of faith.
