SUMMARY:Godly Play Core Training
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Core Training Workshop on Godly Play! The training\, typically done in 18 contact hours\, will be done using a hybrid model. \nOur first gathering will take place Tuesday\, May 26th from 6-9pm on Zoom. This will be followed by an in-person training Saturday\, May 30th from 8:30-5:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Hermantown. \nWho should come? Pastors\, Deacons\, Youth Ministry professionals\, Sunday School teachers\, volunteers working with children and youth. Anyone who loves kids and wants to share God’s story with them in interactive ways! \nWhat does it cost? The price per person is $350. \nThe grand total for the NEMN Synod to host a Core Training is $3\,500. We are grateful to the Irving Community Club for a grant to help offset the cost. \nRooted in the Montessori method\, Godly Play is child-centered and hands-on method for teaching the stories of scripture.
