This seminar examines the concepts of suffering, compassion, and mindfulness from various spiritual lenses and discuss mortality and the opportunities we have as healers, spiritual companions, and healthcare providers to bring comfort rather than fear to these discussions.
Though language often fails us in the midst of trauma, preachers and religious leaders are nevertheless called upon to “offer a Word” to a hurting community. In this workshop, we will consider together both the individual and communal impacts of trauma.
