November 17, 2026 “Bible 101 and Pie” Presented by Rev. Dr. Mark Skinner and hosted at Bethlehem Lutheran, Brainerd. This popular, two-hour introductory session will review the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, highlighting major themes and historical events. This session is for anyone new to reading the Bible or it may serve as a quick review for life-long readers. Come and meet some new friends and enjoy delicious pie. Bring bible to workshop.
January 7, 2027 “We Confess: Martin Luther and the Augsburg Confession” Presented by Rev. Dr. Mark Skinner and hosted by Lord of Life Lutheran, Baxter. This two-hour workshop introduces Martin Luther along with some of his history and how it eventually led to the Augsburg Confession, one of the primary confessions of faith for the Lutheran Church. It stands as one of the most critical documents of the Protestant Reformation. This is a great review for life-long Lutherans or for people who are brand new to the Lutheran tradition. Enjoy homemade German black forest cake during our discussion.
