Here is some information on the Practice Session for the 2026 Synod Assembly.
It will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Zoom.

Presentation topics will include a look at the agenda, electronic voting, Emmaus Fund Gala, Quilt Auction and MarketPlace, 2027 Budget and Compensation Guidelines, Mental Health Resources, Information on Worship Resources (for congregation usage and at the Assembly), What to Bring/Print Out for the Assembly, and time for your questions.
Here is a list of things to bring to the Synod Assembly, to help you with the business portion of the Assembly:
- Printed Bulletin of Reports, Part 1 (or at least downloaded on your device and/or print out key portions)
- Key portions can include the Agenda, Resolutions (4), Budget, etc.
- Printed Worship Booklets (if you prefer paper to digital
- Pen/Pencil
- Digital device (smart phone, tablet, computer) that can connect to the Internet, fully charged and your power cord. We will be using electronic voting throughout the Assembly.
- Offering for Sunday’s Closing Worship (Recipient is the Synod’s Seminarian Fund)
