The second ​Sunday in October is Indigenous People’s Sunday. On Native American Sunday in the Northeastern Minnesota Synod, we honor the unique and beautiful contributions of our Native American brothers and sisters by lifting up the American Indian/Alaska Native ministries of the ELCA. Indigenous People’s Sunday provides congregations in the synod the opportunity to give generously through a special offering set aside for the ministry of Together Here Ministries and the synod staff called to finding meaningful and authentic way to lead our synod in this ministry effort.
