How to Talk about Racial Justice & Racism with Youth

This series of presentation and conversation on Zoom will equip leaders to talk about racism and racial justice with young people. It is led by Deacon Colleen Bernu and members of the NE MN Synod Together Here and Anti-Racism teams.

Part One: Implicit Bias, Personal Reflection and Spiritual Growth

Part One helps us understand implicit bias, racial microaggressions and white supremacy. Participants are encouraged to first do our own soul searching as we take a look at our understanding relationship to structural racism – a necessary step before we begin conversations with young people.
